"Last year I decided to remodel my home.  I wanted to combine the living room, kitchen and one bedroom into one large room or as my sister-in-law calls it, "destroying my resale value".  As a plumbing contractor, I have the unique prospective and advantage of working for many general contractors.  I did not have to blindly pick a general contractor after a few short meetings and a proposal.  Because of the quality of work, professionalism and reliability I've witnessed whileworking for T.L. Roe, I choose them to work on my remodel.
   After talking to Tanner about what I wanted to do, he met with me at my house and climbed through the attic with me to see what my options were.  My 102 year old house had some challenges to overcome.  In addition to the remodel I wanted, there were repairs there were needed. It became a little stressful thinking about all that needed to be done and how much it would disrupt my life and my pets lives.
   I have learned what it's like to be on the other side of a remodel.  I am used to going into houses that are being torn apart and put back together.  It's a whole other world when it's your own house and it's your life that is being turned upside down.  Tanner and Bill are very kind and confident and that made things a lot easier for me.
   After meeting with the engineer, Tanner came up with a game plan and worked with me through the whole thing.  All the needed repairs in the framing were taken care of,  my ceiling will no longer sag, my roof is no longer in danger of caving in and two thick beams replaced two load-bearing walls, opening up a big room that will be great for entertaining.  I might even invite my sister-in-law.
   I am extremely pleased with the work the guys did, but nearly as important to me is the whole process was smooth and I felt at ease through it all.  Also my dogs love the guys.  Dogs know."
